We got two of our papers into this years IEEE Sensors get together in Limerick. Ben will be giving a poster on the gas sensitivity of HfO2 based silicon carbide sensors, whereas Mariam has an oral on ‘Ultra Sensitive Hydrogen Gas Sensing Using DNA-templated Palladium Nanowires’ There’s no timetable up yet, so I’m not sure which part of the weekend we are going to be over there.

The end of this week is the ICSCRM decisions. The first draft timetable is now out and shows a number of changes from previous years. The main one is the inclusion of a ‘Low Voltage Devices’ session on the Tuesday morning – not something we have seen before – as well as a session on ‘GaN – Graphene Heterojunctions’. I’ve been asked to chair the ‘Graphene Devices’ session on the Thursday afternoon, just before the conference banquet at the ‘Rock Hall of Fame’ in downtown Cleveland. That means a pretty short turn round at the end of the session to get my glad rags on before we hit the town …
